Honoring Dr. Donna Warren Colondres

The Dr. Donna Warren Colondres Black Excellence Memorial Scholarship is to commemorate the legacy and work of 32-year Chaffey Counselor and Statewide Umoja Co-founder Dr. Donna Colondres, who tirelessly advocated for Black student success and always reminded us of the African proverb: "If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together." This scholarship is intended to support and celebrate the lives of African American and Black students who encourage their peers to gather in community to forward their collective academic, personal, and professional success.
